Why do my rendered wav files from Fruity Loops sound distorted in ACID Music Studio 5.0?

two big possibilities pop into my head..





1) you are exporting the wav files too loud. This could introduce whats called "clipping" which will have a negative impact on the sound.





2) you are exporting the wrong format. I would reccomend that you export the WAV files at 16-Bit / 44.1 Khz. You would set the 16-bit on the export info screen. The 44.1 is set in the Tools%26gt;Audio section for the selected sound device.
