What can I do about a wireless connection that is looping during a renew IP address?

Laptop will not renew IP address while attempting to connect to an unsecured wireless network. I have tried 2 separate cards and one USB card; same result. What setting am I needing to change.

try this:


open a run box (windows key + r)





type in this:


ipconfig /release





then open another runbox and type this:


ipconfig /renew
Reply:use this command in command promt(start---%26gt;run---%26gt;cmd)


use this command:


ipconfig /release


ipconfig /flushdns


ipconfig /renew


if u have problem disable and enable connection,


and u can remove driver and reinstall ,in the last chang lan cart and test hardware(pcmica)
