Any way to keep a leather belt from losing its shape after repeated use?

My leather woven belts always tend to stretch and fracture the leather. And my regular wide leather belts get "dents" in them near the belt loops on the pants.

I do not over tighten them, just wear them a lot.

Any way to keep a leather belt from losing its shape after repeated use?
Oil the leather. Sew the woven thongs into the original shape. Shoe Goo the back to a long piece of stiff fabric. Buy thicker belts.
