What is the best music program to download? (reason, acid, fruity loops, cubase?)?
I use Hydrogen for making drum tracks. It's free open source and I can use samples from my live kit for the drum sounds. I think it's pretty simple and intuitive to make beats with.

Reply:Try Fruity Loops. Just got 5.0 Producer Edition days ago and it is amazing. Big league stuff but I can figure most of it out on the fly. Really cool.
