How can i over come my fear of roller coasters?

READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On may 18 our school is going to six flags and im going with some of my friends. I have never been on a roller coaster before. The only thing i've been on close to a roller coaster was a ride at a carnival that puts you way in the air and you spin around until you get back where you were before, and that ride i had no fear of. But at six flags the rides are different. I have a fear of the drops and loops. I was thinking of going on the VIPER first but i dont know. SO any 1 help me out.

How can i over come my fear of roller coasters?
Go on the Viper (or which ever one you choose first) with your closest friend. When your sitting down and getting ready to start you might feel the urge to get up and leave, but you can't. It's hard to explain but once you get on your want to gon again.

Me my 2 cousins and my brother were getting on a rolla coaster. It was my first time. My cousin and brother were sitting infront of me and my other cousin i saw my cousin in front of me get off because he had just ate and felt sick. As soon as my cousin got off I wanted to leave too. but th cousin that I was sitting with told me no and made me stay on. I went on the ride and loved it. Now you can throw me any roller coaster and I'll get on it without breaking a sweat. DON'T THINK OF ROLLER COASTERS AS SCARY THINK OF THEM AS THRILLING!
Reply:Don't worry. I was the same and now I'm a roller coaster junkie! :o)

The first ride will be a little scary probably. But don't be afraid to start out big. That way if you don't like it you can work down. Or don't be afraid to start out small. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with :o)

They are so much fun!
Reply:Take a brave friend with you. If you really want one, tell them to make you. Try a small one first, but I actually find those scarier. Even if you are afraid at first, I'm sure you'll want more when it's over!
Reply:I used to be soooo afraid of roller coasters. Some friends and I went to Cedar Point last summer, and I was so nervous about it. I really didn't want to get on, but my friend Tim helped me out. Once you go on your first big roller coaster, you should be fine. My suggestion is to scream as loud as you can once you start going down the first hill. It usually distracts me from everything, and it relaxes me for the rest of the ride.
