Need an adhesive to permanently glue a strap of loop Velcro either to itself or to the underside of same strap. Bit tricky because the Velcro is Nylon-based, any thoughts, assistance much appreciated, thanks...
Anyone know the best way to permanantly glue the loop side of Velcro to itself?
Craft, fabric, hobby stores, and Walmart (fabric and sewing section) all carry glue that's specially made for Velcro. It works VERY well!
Reply:gorilla glue (It works great on almost anything)
Reply:I'd try duco cement or gorilla glue. Gorilla glue foams. Both are going to need clamping with clothes pins.
You might also want to "shave" the one end of the loops/fur so you can get better adhesion.. assuming it doesn't "unravel" the velcro.
