What type of shirt do I wear with wide leg jeans?

Got a pair of wide leg drawstring jeans from the Gap for Christmas. Cute, but normally not my style. They have no belt loops and I would describe them as a true blue indigo color. What color/ type of shirt do I wear with them. I've got the shoes covered all ready, have multiple colors of shoes.

What type of shirt do I wear with wide leg jeans?
