What the heck is hot cereal and how do you make it?

My infamous BFF asked me to give her some hot cereal. I did not and still don't know what the heck she was talking about and since I did not want to look stupid in front of her, I took a gamble and heated up some froot loops in the microwave . Instead of telling me what I did wrong she cussed me out. Please tell me what I did wrong folks. Whoever knew that making hot cereal would be so d*mn complicated

Reply:Hot grits with butter, oatmeal, cream of wheat, malt-o-meal, cornmeal, Farina, wheat bran, oat bran, cream of rice, cream of buckwheat etc.


She should have helped you. She is not much a friend if she cussed you out.


Hot cereals are gross. You usually just add water to an instant mix but sometimes you gotta do them in a pot on the stop of the stove.
Reply:You buy the hot cereal in it's packaging and follow the instructions try cream of wheat with some butter and sweetened condensed milk yummy.

I would have done the exact same thing, i mean its hot cereal...i would have thought just put some hot milk into some regular cereal....thanks for teaching me something!
